Amlogic S905 AM1, AM2 firmware update with Android 6.0.1, version 1.1.1

The main purpose of this release is to bring all new Ugoos improvements for our Brand Amlogic s905 devices. Since last s905 release, we have many things to implement.

The most important and noticeable improvement is android version Marshmallow update.

As basis, we added a functionality of our S912 AM3 device and tried to make this firmware maximum capable with this SoC.

Here are the details:

KODI 17

Now Kodi 17 function "Adjust display refresh rate" works correctly if switch it on in settings – Videos

Also we add fractional frequencies for HDMI self-adaptation function in order to get content on those frequencies doesn't loose the frames.

Ugoos update service

Each time we make Ugoos devices update service more and more user-friendly. We reworked OTA mechanisms and added new more convenient manual update function.

  both OTA and OTG update methods fail to update the firmware. is there a usb update file available?

  Hi, I also can't update via OTA or Recovery. 1. OTA update, after download, stops at "Copying..." 2. Recovery gives error "cannot mount \misc"

  Damian, try next: 1. Reboot recovery 2. Wipe cache partition 3. Reboot 4. Try ota update again

  serega, I wiped the cache partition but still the OTA update freezes at "Copying..."

  Thank you very much for this new firmware.It can access to USB External HDD 2TB. But it seems that it cannot access to USB External HDD 4TB. If it is a bug, please fix it on next release. Thanks in advance.

  I updated my MXQ Pro with the Ugoos Firmware V1.1.1 and my box was left without wifi and without a network, I have not been able to recover it, this version does not even allow me to enter the Recovery Root. What to do?
